Brass Nameplate Questions
What sizes are available for custom nameplates?
Our brass nameplates can be made in any size from 1.5" to 12" in both width and height. You enter exact dimensions, and we cut to your specifications.
How is the engraving area calculated?
The usable engraving area is 0.25" smaller on all sides than the plate dimensions. For example, a 4" × 2" plate has a 3.5" × 1.5" engraving area.
What font options are available?
We offer five professional fonts: Georgia (classic serif), Arial (clean sans-serif), Cinzel (formal Roman-style), Dancing Script (elegant cursive), and Courier New (monospace).
What finish options are available?
Choose from four finishes: Brass with Black Text, Silver with Black Text, Black with Gold Text, or Black with Silver Text. All feature laser-engraved text for durability.
How many lines of text can I add?
You can add up to 10 lines of text. Each line has its own font size slider (8pt to 72pt) and bold option. The system shows a warning if text may not fit.
Can I add decorative icons?
Yes! Choose from our library of engravable icons including hearts, stars, anchors, crosses, flourishes, and more. Icons are laser-engraved along with your text.
How is pricing calculated?
Custom engraved brass nameplates start at $29 for smaller sizes. Larger nameplates scale reasonably with size. The maximum price is $129, regardless of size.
